I am a huge fan of jewellery. I don’t remember that last time I left the house without any jewellery on, or the last time I didn’t receive an item of jewellery for my birthday or for Christmas. It’s probably the second biggest spender for me after makeup of course…
I’m really into the minimalist and rustic jewellery trend, so when Jewellery Box* contacted me and asked me to choose a couple products to review – I found it incredibly difficult to say no! I was browsing on the website for so long, it was hard to narrow it down so I sent the links to the products I loved the most and was SO surprised and incredibly grateful when I discovered that I had received every item! You’ll soon notice a trend with all these pieces – they’re all very minimalist and perfect to wear this summer!
First of all, I love the packaging that the products arrive in. They essentially come gift wrapped. If you were to get someone something from Jewellery Box, you could essentially just pop this box as it is inside a gift bag! I love the rustic look of their packaging and the products are well presented inside too. I always worry about jewellery in transit because I’ve had it before from a company that shall not be named (Harry Potter reference there) where a necklace arrived completely tangled up and completely unusable! However, I’m extremely happy to say that this was not the case with Jewellery Box!
So as you can see, I was sent five stunning items (eeeeeeek) and they were everything I imagined they would be and more!
Jewellery Box is a fantastic website because they have such a broad range of jewellery, practically everything you could think of and with great prices, ranging from £3.00 and under to the more luxurious £150+ range. I’m not going to lie when I say that I’m a jewellery snob so I was very interested to see how these products panned out with me.
First up, we have the Sterling Silver Brushed Flat Heart Stud Earrings* which are priced at just £4.95 – yep! My ears are quite sensitive to earrings, I can’t wear most high street brand earrings because they make my ears incredibly sore and react with little bumps. Horrible I know. BUT, with these heart stud earrings, I have not had a single problem which I am thrilled about because I love these. The heart stud earrings are sterling silver and 925 stamped. This tells me instantly of the quality that I can expect from these. They’re so minimal but they really do compliment the lobes and make your ears look gorgeous! (That’s a sentence I never thought I would write)
I can’t even tell you how long I’ve lusted after a bar necklace*…
I didn’t realise this but you can actually get this necklace personalised! This is something I wish I paid more attention too. I was just so excited it slipped past me! It’s no bother though because I love the bar necklace plain but do bear that in mind if you decide to get one. Again, this is a style of necklace that has been on my evergrowing jewellery must-haves for some time. It’s such a minimal piece that you could easily layer it up with other necklaces (which I have done already) or on it’s own – which I’ve also done. Prices start from £26.00 and it increases depending on the chain length you want. This would make a wonderful personalised gift for someone special or if you’re gonna treat yo self – this would be an item I recommend!
Rings… How I love thee.
I found it soooo hard to pick just one ring and I was very kindly sent both rings. (Which again I did not expect at all) I received a White Gold Eternity Stacking Ring* and the Stirling Silver Open Triangle Ring*. The Eternity Stacking Ring is priced at £42.00 and it’s truly stunning. I tried this on with my engagement ring and it’s definitely given me ideas for my wedding ring (eeek) but for now it’s sitting with my engagement ring looking all pretty. I did take my engagement ring off for the photos just so you can see what they both look like on their own.
The Triangle Ring will rock on anyones hands! I love these styles at the moment, they’re really popular and it’s not hard to see why. The prices on this start from £5.75 and vary depending on the size of ring you require. I love shape jewellery at the moment and it looks stunning on. This would be great to wear with stacking rings and midi rings in particular!
Last but not least…
We have this beautiful Arrow Necklace* and the price for this piece is incredible. It’s only £8.35 – yep, you read that right – the quality is amazing. I LOVE the design of this necklace. Just like the bar necklace – you can wear it on it’s own or layer it up with others. It’s such a delicate piece of jewellery and I’m so clumsy, I’ll admit I was afraid incase I’d break it! So far so good though. This is also quite a minimalist necklace so it would look incredibly complimentary on anyone who has this. Arrows are another huge trend in the jewellery world at the moment. You can guarantee you’ll find an arrow piece on most/if not all jewellery seller sites! Whether it be in the form of earrings, rings, toe rings, bracelets or necklaces!
With jewellery, I usually say that you get what you pay for.
If you pay more you can expect more for the quality but Jewellery Box have completely changed my opinion on this. Their products are SO affordable it’s amazing. I’ve not had a problem with any of the jewellery. I will certainly consider Jewellery Box in the future for any potential purchases I make by following my go to saying “Treat Yo Self”. As I said earlier, they also sell a higher priced jewellery which all look stunning too! All in all, I’m pretty damn impressed with Jewellery Box and what they have to offer! All of these pieces are so minimalist, they’re perfect dressed up or down.
Have you ever tried Jewellery Box? What do you think to these pieces I’ve shown? Let me know in the comments below!
