So…? Is a brand that I remember from years ago – most prominently So…? Kiss me. They were definitely the ‘in’ brand for us young teens from what I can remember. I’m 99% sure that the majority of girls in my year owned at least one So…? Fragrance.
Anyway, they’ve had a huge revamp of their brand as you can see in the photos and holy moly. It’s definitely an upgrade from what it used to be! I love the new designs of the bottles, especially the clear look with the patterned background, it looks so lush, honestly.
For the price you pay for the So…? range, you wouldn’t necessarily expect a lot in return as cheap fragrances, in my opinion, can be very hit and miss. However, So…? have definitely knocked it out the park with their scents. They’ve obviously put so much time and effort in to make them super affordable whilst giving you a top quality scent. There’s practically a scent for every single occasion too – from just a subtle scent for a walk all the way to a more ‘party’ scent.
So I’ve been using both Vanilla* and Floriental* like there’s no tomorrow. They smell so damn good.
When I first saw that I had Floriental* in my lil package, I was like ”aaah damn it, I hate floral scents, this isn’t going to go down well.” You all know that I cannot stand strong floral stuff, so I had set the bar really, really low for this scent. I was totally wrong though! It’s not a sickly, strong floral scent. It’s a very subtle, fresh and floral blend. You can definitely smell hints of spice and orange in there too. I love this scent so much more than I expected and it practically lives in my hand bag! I’m scared to use it too much though because I do not want to be without this scent. When I’ve been choosing Floriental body mist over my Dior Poison Girl perfume… You know the quality is something else.
Vanilla* is another winner for me. It’s not got an overpowering artificial scent to it. There’s nothing worse than obviously artificial vanilla scents is there? I think, this is the perfect dupe for Victoria’s Secret Body Mist in ‘Vanilla Lace’ so again, the quality is high with the So…? mist. I tested this out by asking Kayne to spray them both (whilst I was blindfolded so I couldn’t cheat) and I literally couldn’t tell the difference! It’s not as ‘exotic’ as their other mists but who doesn’t love a good vanilla scent? I’ve used this quite a lot to spray the house with too! If I don’t have time for a candle to burn but I want the house to smell nice and inviting, I just run round spritzing this and I’ve received so many compliments! An unintentional multi-purpose product – winner, winner, chicken dinner!
I definitely want to try their other mists such as sparkling tea, watermelon, iced berries and musk! *adds to wishlist* These are priced at £3.99, so an absolute bargain!
So…? Sheer Illusion*
So…? have three different scents in this collection of eau de perfumes and fragrance mists. I tested out Sheer Illusion* and the scent is stronger than I would like it to be admittedly. However, once it settles down, the scent is so naturally beautiful. I tend to wear this for date night or if I just want to feel extra.
Predominantly, you can smell mandarin, jasmine and rose. Whilst having a sort of wood/musk undertone to it of sandalwood. It sounds like a weird blend that shouldn’t work but it really does. I think the sandalwood is what gives Sheer Illusion, the little ‘kick’ in it. I love how they’ve assigned colours and fabrics to the collection too. So for Sheer Illusion, there’s the idea of satins, silks, glamour, peach, pastels, sequins – y’know as if you were off out to an event or as I said previously, date night! Everything about Sheer Illusion just screams chic glamour couture. I’ve got Drag Race on my mind again… But you get the general jist!
There’s two bottles of this baby – a fragrance mist and the actual perfume. The perfume is obviously a lot longer wear than the mist and stronger in scent but does eventually settle down and smells super, super sweet! This is just £6.99 and the fragrance mist comes in at £3.99!
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love the new look – because let’s be honest – it is stunning!
As I said previously, this is honestly a perfect brand if you just want a damn good scent that isn’t going to break your bank. If only I had these when I was a student, I definitely wouldn’t have spent all my moolah on Victoria’s Secret mists! I love the scents and just how good they are. Floriental is definitely the overall winner for me though, I can’t quite believe just how much I love it.
