Christmas is a dangerous time for our bank accounts, am I right? Well, more dangerous than normal. There’s so many beauty gift sets out at the moment, it’s hard to narrow it down. From the luxe to the high street to the cult favourites – there’s a beauty gift set out there for everyone!
I’ve been drooling over these gift sets for quite some time. I did have a list of about 20-30 gift set for this post but after much umming and aaahing, I decided to bring it down to just 10. This took forever to narrow down!
How gorgeous does this all look!? I think this is really good value for money considering what you get – 24 shadows, blush, highlight, bronzer, lip paint, mascara and liner! Their shadows, highlighter and mascara are amazing so I’d be so eager to have this! This comes in at £46 but sadly, as Tarte is an American brand, you will need to take into consideration the customs, taxes etc. But if you order a good amount from Tarte, you’ll get free shipping. This basically means – get more, treat yo self. If not, they do have this on QVC with easy pay instalments, if I need to persuade you further…
This gift set is a little set of dreams. You get five full size matte lipsticks – YES FULL SIZE – and they’re beautifully packaged. *drools*. Did you know that this is only £37 for FIVE lipsticks? How amazing is that?! Tarte gift sets are always huge value for money I think. I love the shades of these. They’re perfect as we slowly start creeping to Spring/Summer in the New Year (yay!) because they’re all stunning hues of pinks and purples, of course there’s a peachy nude in there too. According to Tarte’s website they’re ‘full coverage, matte formula & a silky-smooth texture’. they sound heavenly don’t they?
I’ve been desperate to try Tarte skincare for so long, I’ve only ever heard good things. There’s so many products in their skincare that I want to try. I think their gift sets are the perfect way to sample their products and see what works for you! In this you get four travel sized items for £18, which again, I think is pretty reasonable. Plus, their highly raved drink of h2o hydrating boost moisturiser is in this! By the way, this set is vegan friendly and Tarte Cosmetics are also cruelty free! Can it really get any better than this?
Becca is an amazing brand and is raved about by so many people. In this gorgeous set you get the First Light Priming Filter, Backlight Priming Filter and the Under Eye Brightening Corrector. This comes in at just £20 from Cult Beauty. The brightening corrector sounds absolutely perfect for someone like me who suffers really badly with dark under eye circles. If you’ve never tried BECCA primer, this gift set especially would be a great place to start.
Again, So many people rave about Huda and their lip contour sets. Why wouldn’t you want this on under your Christmas tree?! I know I do, I may even treat my self as a lil’ pre-Christmas present… Cos y’know treat yo self. All the shades available look stunning, especially Trophy Wife & Muse. This comes in at £29 for two matte minis and a full sized lip contour pencil. Other set options include ‘Spice Girl & Venus’, ‘Trendsetter & Bombshell’ and ‘Vixen & Famous’.
Jouer Cosmetics have some seriously amazing lipsticks. I love their formula and desperate to try more from them. I currently only own two of their lipsticks (Noisette and Rose Gold) and they’re so dreamy. The best thing about this is that there’s eight – YES EIGHT! – gorgeous shades. All nudes of course, ranging from the dreamy pinks to my favourite browns *drools*. There’s even two metallic lipsticks in this too. They’re mini’s but for £30, I think it’s pretty good value for money considering you get 8. The Jouer Cosmetics gift sets always sell out too, make sure you don’t miss out! Little update – since typing up this post, I now own this beauty! It’s definitely worth the money and I 100% recommend it!
I am shooketh. This set just looks absolutely perfect. I’ve heard amazing things about this from people who are fortunate enough to have this already! It seems to go out of stock so fast, make sure you keep your opens for it! This set has three glitter & glow liquid eye shadows and three shimmer & glow liquid eyeshadows. The shimmer and glow shadows are brand new and are set to launch in the Spring. I can tell they’re going to be popular! The colours in this set are fantastic, I’m interested to see how the red (Next to Notte) shimmer and glow eyeshadow will pan out with everyone! This comes in at £45 so it is one of the pricier sets in this post BUT it does have three brand new products so what do you expect!
Sleek Makeup are such a good brand. I’ve loved their products for years and their matte me lipstick range has proved popular! This gift set is a bargain at just £6.00 for four mini liquid lipsticks. You can’t really go wrong can you? Plus, these are part of the Boots famous 3 for 2 mix and match! This just screams *buy me, buy me* Sleek are fab too for someone who is just delving into the world of makeup or if you’re doing secret Santa – this could be a fab gift for them or even just a stocking filler. Or, if you’re like me and you just love Sleek, it’ll be perfect for anyone!
I love, love, love Soap and Glory. I love their play on words with their product names and their products are something else. They always do amazing gift sets for Christmas but this one just stood out to me the most. I think it’s because this set has two body pods which I’ve not actually tried before. It also has some of their best selling products in here too. Again, perfect for Secret Santa, stocking fillers or for someone who wants a bit of everything from Soap and Glory! Soaper Heroes is £10 and again, is part of the Boots 3 for 2 mix and match. With this and the Sleek Makeup set I just mentioned… You just need to pick another and you’re sorted! Go on, treat yo self.
Now, here’s a little confession for you all. I have never tried Pixi. I know, I know, I’m a bad blogger aren’t I? Pixi is at the top of my wish list this Christmas so I’m praying I get some as they’re such a raved about brand. I haven’t seen anyone say “I don’t like Pixi” which speaks volumes to me. Everyone says how good the Glow Tonic is so to have it in a gift set – winner, winner! This set is £28, you know you want this under your Christmas tree…
There we have it, my top 10 beauty gift sets for this festive season. Like I said, there’s so many more I wanted to have but y’know, I don’t have the energy to write a super, super long post on sets. Plus, it wouldn’t do my bank balance any favours.
Are there any gift sets on there that you want? Or that you have? What gift sets do you recommend? Let me know in the comments below!
