My little boy is three months! It doesn’t seem five minutes since I was 12 weeks pregnant with him and announcing our news to everyone and now he’s 12 weeks on the ‘other side’ so to speak.
So, what’s Buddy doing now?
Well… Since he was about 2.5 months old, he’s been rolling over! At first, we thought it was just a fluke but he’s been doing it more and more and since we got back off holiday, he just hasn’t stopped. I’m not sure what the ‘average’ age is for rolling over to be honest as some sites say 4-6 months, some say 2-3… I don’t know, all babies are different and do things in their own time! But I do feel like he’s *too* early rolling over? It makes me so proud that he’s a determined little soul but also sad because it means that he’s growing up and that’s one milestone conquered… It’s only a sign of more things to come!
He is moving his legs and his left arm as well after rolling so his co-ordination is getting there I think to prepare him for crawling (whenever that may be), he just can’t figure out his right arm!
Buddy went on a plane!
We had our first family holiday and it was absolute bliss. It was just what I needed to be honest. In the run up to the holiday, I was an absolute wreck. I was stressing about every little potential thing that could go wrong and how Buddy would be on the flights, airports and holiday in general. To be honest, he was an absolute dream. I can’t fault him at all. The only times he really cried and I mean *really* cried was when it came to the descent on the way to Portugal and back into the UK. Once the calpol kicked in though he was settled and quite content.
I’ll talk more about the holiday in separate posts with tips, what to pack and all that jazz so keep your eyes peeled for them!
He had his second lot of jabs too.
I know they’re super important to have but God they’re heart breaking aren’t they? Buddy in general, is a very smiley baby so when we take him into the nurse and he’s smiling away, cooing at her and then she gives him the injection, it’s so upsetting because he screams the building down. The nurse even cuddles him afterwards! But yeah, he’s had his second lot of jabs and he was a bit grizzly after for around 24 hours but nowhere near like how he was after his first round of jabs.
I think, that’s pretty much the major things covered in this update. It’s a very short post because Buddy is starting to stir for a feed and if I don’t get this post live, I never will! It’s been such a busy month, it’s been hard to just sit down and find the time to write. Hopefully I’ll actually be on time for Buddy’s next update!
